Emma Jean Walker-Crews TRENTON - Emma Jean Walker -Crews was born November 17, 1934 in Clayton, AL in Barbour County. She departed this life on Monday at February 03, 2014 in Trenton, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Tom Walker, Sr. and Willie Dell Palmer of Clayton, AL. She received her education at Louis Chapel School System in, Clayton, AL. She was employed by Stacy Laundry for more than 10 years and retired from there in 1975. She was a member of the AFT -CIO Local 284 during her employment there. Emma Jean fellowshipped as a member at Adath Israel Synogogue for many years. Emma Jean Walker Crews was united in Holy matrimony with J.C. Crews on November 12, 1950. She was predeceased by her husband, J.C. Crews and her daughter Willie Mae Martinez. Emma Jean leaves to mourn her loving 2 sons, Dea. Jesse Crews ( Joan )of Philadelphia, PA, and Minister Artic C. Crews of Trenton, NJ, 4 daughters, Janet M. Crews and Regina Crews of Trenton, NJ, Katrina E. Crews of Tampa, Fl., and Keya D. Seals ( George ) of Cape May , NJ, as well as, 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She also, leaves behind one sister, Carrie Burston of Tampa, FL, one brother, James Walker of Washington, DC and 2 god-sons, Michael S. Ingram and Kevin Blake, as well as, a host of nephew and nieces. Funeral service will be 11am Fri Feb. 14, 2014 at the Hughes Funeral Home 324 Bellevue Ave Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment Greenwood Cemetery Hamilton, NJ.
