TRENTON - Ezzio "Bill" Bocchini, 86, of Trenton, has been accepted into God's loving embrace on Dec. 21, 2012, at his residence with his loving family by his side. Born on July 24, 1926, Bill has been a lifelong Trenton area resident. Bill served our country in the United States Army
during World War II
in the South Pacific. Mr. Bocchini retired from American Standard after 40 dedicated years. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trout fishing and golf. He was a proud member of the Italian American Sportsmen Club and former president of the College Sportsman Club.
Bill Bocchini was predeceased by his parents, Francesco Bocchini and Serafina Filliponi. Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his loving and caring wife of 63 years, Loretta Chiacchio Bocchini, a son, Frank Bocchini (Debbie), and daughter, Juda Bocchini, his two grandchildren, Nicole and her husband Lee Zimmerman, Frank Bocchini and his wife Falen, four great-grandchildren, Francesca Bocchini, Ezzio Bocchini, Lee Zimmerman Jr. and Bianca Bocchini. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and two very special people in his life, Joann Palmucci and Joseph L. Bocchini, Jr. will miss him deeply.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon on Thursday (Dec. 27) at Our Lady of the Angels/St. Joachim's Parish, 20-56 Butler St., Trenton NJ 08611. Visiting hours for family and friends will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 26) and again from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at Hamilton Brenna-Cellini, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619 under the coordination of Mrs. Bocchini's cousin, David C. Chiacchio. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to support our wounded war veterans via the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
