Gerald Emroy Shirley Blackwood

EWING - Gerald Emroy Shirley Blackwood, 78, of Ewing, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Lawrenceville Nursing Center. Born and educated in St Elizabeth, Jamaica. He moved to England at the age of 26 and settled in the United States in 1985. He was employed by North Princeton Developmental Center and retired from Greenbrook Psychiatric Hospital after many years of dedicated service.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gerald Blackwood and Marie Satchell, surviving are his wife, Norma Lewis Blackwood; a daughter, Sharon Blackwood; grandchildren, Glen James and Jheanette James; brothers, Churchill, Grossett, Hoover and Clyde Blackwood; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the extended Lewis Family all will mourn his loss.
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Township. Calling hours will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel.
