Gladys (Blount) Wilcox

Gladys (Blount) Wilcox TRENTON - Gladys (Blount) Wilcox of Trenton passed away December 7, 2013, daughter of the late Annie Mae & David Blount, was born on October 18, 1925 in Calaway, Florida. She is predeceased by one son Fred W. Watkins; one granddaughter, Lisa R. Walker; two brothers, Leon and David Blount, five sisters: Jimmie Mae Ford, Annie Mae Wallington, Mary Davis, Pearlie Blount, Mildred Clark and Alice Johnson, and her loving companion Henry Morrison. Gladys accepted Christ at a very early age in Florida, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Trenton, preceding her illness. She was a high school graduate and worked as a health care aide. Gladys enjoyed playing solitaire and loved fishing and word puzzles. She leaves to cherish her precious memory one son, William Wilcox, four daughters: Cynthia W. White, Veronica Agbaegbu, Arnethia Flim, Janie Morrison-King; one daughter-in-law Ann Watkins; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be 11am Wed Dec. 11, 2013 at St. Johns Baptist Church 70 Oregon Ave Ewing, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until time of service at the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Meals on Wheels of Trenton/Ewing.
