Haralene Hood Cousar

Haralene Hood Cousar ,87, passed away July 12, 2013 at home. Born in Concord, GA and lived in Trenton for 60 years. She was educated in the Concord, GA public school system. She was employed by Edward Marshall-Boehem. Haralene was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for over 50 years and was a member of the Senior Choir.
Daughter of the late Horace and Hassie Neal, wife of the late Willie Hood and Enos Doc Cousar, mother of the late Rev. Willie R. Hood Sr., and John D. Hood, sister of the late Lelia Walker, Bessie Harris, Cartha Gates and Betty James, grandmother of the late Nicole Hood.
Haralene is survived by two sisters; Mary Evans and Glenda Stephens; a brother; Tommie Neal; seven grandchildren; Willie R. Hood Jr.; John T. Hood; Vincent A. Hood; Tamara D. Hinch; Kimberly Hood; Maranda Hood; and Harvey Hood, six great-grandchildren; Taniya J. Hood; Natiya M. Hood; Willie R. Hood III; Javion Blount; Harmony Hood; and Trinity Hood, a great-great grandson; Adore Jones; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday (July 19) at Shiloh Baptist Church 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson way Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 8 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
