HAMILTON - Helen A. Budzinski Agos, 90, of Hamilton Township, the Deutzville section, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at her home.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Agos was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton resident. She retired in 1998 after more than 25 years service with Kudra Furs on South Broad Street. Helen was a member of the St. Stanislaus Altar-Rosary Society, their Sodality and their parish Golden Agers. She also was a member of the C.W.V. Retired Generals, the Hamilton Seniors, and a prayerful member of the Blue Army of Mary. She enjoyed traveling the U.S., visiting her family, trips to the Jersey shore and Atlantic City. Most of all Helen deeply enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as praying and practicing her Catholic faith.
Daughter of the late Martin and Mary Fediuk Budzinski, wife of the late John M. Agos, sister of the late William J. Budzinski, John Sichick, Michael Sichick and Mary Nero, she is survived by her loving children, her two sons and daughters-in-law, John J. and Patricia L. Agos of Mercerville, and Robert M. and Susan E. Agos of Columbus; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Helen and Mark F. Iorio of Plymouth, Minn.; seven grandchildren, Tricia, Kristi, Jonathan, Daniel, Matthew, Alyse and Vanessa; two great-grandchildren, Gianna and Luke; several nieces and nephews, and her devoted home health aide companions, Valentina Tselushkova and Iryna Pukish.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 6, from the Winowicz Funeral Home, corner Adeline and Beatty streets. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Divine Mercy Parish St. Stanislaus Church, corner Randall and Smith streets, with the Rev. Fr. Dennis Apoldite presiding. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
