TRENTON - Helen Brzezicki Seaman, 91, of South Trenton, died peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2013, at Saint Joseph's Villa, Springfield Township, Pa.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Seaman was a lifelong Trenton resident until recently moving to Flourtown, Pa. She retired in 1983 after 30 years service with the United Steelworkers, Local 4889, at U.S. Steel, Fairless Works plant, in Fairless Hills, Pa. She was a member of S.O.A.R., the Steelworkers Retiree group.
Helen's greatest joy was spending time with her family and the light of her life were her grandnieces and grandnephews. She was a loving aunt and kind to all she met. Helen had a sincere quality of giving "hugs" to people as her loving way of saying "Thank You" to them for their assistance to her and their friendship. Also, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and growing her back yard tomatoes.
Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Petren Brzezicki, wife of the late John F. Seaman, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard C. and Joan Brzezicki of Swarthmore, Pa; two nieces and one nephew, whom they affectionately called, Aunt Honey: Carla B. Gagnon-Mills and her husband Gregory Mills of Boise, Idaho, Lisa A. Brzezicki of King of Prussia, Pa., Jeffrey and his wife Lee Brzezicki of Springfield, Pa.; two grandnephews, William Gagnon and Ian Gagnon; two grandnieces, Grace Brzezicki and Sofia Brzezicki.
The funeral will be at noon Friday, September 27, from the Winowicz Funeral Home, corner Adeline and Beatty streets. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at the Divine Mercy parish, Saint Stanislaus Church, corner Randall and Smith streets, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Kannuth presiding. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
