Ida "Tillie" Azzaro

TRENTON - Ida "Tillie" Azzaro, 90, of Trenton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Care One at Hamilton peacefully with her loving family by her side.
Born in Bristol, Pa., Tillie was a lifelong Trenton resident. She was owner/ operator of Azzaro's Deli in Trenton, where she retired after many years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angel's Parish at Immaculate, and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Tillie was always known for her kind loving nature. She enjoyed nothing more than being with her family and friends, whether it was for Sunday dinner or to celebrate a family member's special occasion. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved her.
Daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia Sarechilli De Lisa, wife of the late Pasquale "Pat" Azzaro, sister of the late Bessie Cannon, Ann Brogel, and Thomas De Lisa, she is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Dolores De Lisa of Trenton, Anthony and Helene De Lisa of Santa Ana, Calif., two brothers-in-law, Abie Azzaro and wife Tessie, and Leo Azzaro, her good friends, Angela and Mark Synder, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton. Visit Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Parish at Immaculate, 540 Chestnut Ave., Trenton. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton. Donations in Tillie's memory may be made to the , 2600 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
