Jacquin Ortiz, Jr., 54, died on Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Allegheny Memorial Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Born in Trenton where he resided for most of his life, he was a graduate of Trenton Central High School. He was previously employed as a construction worker by Laborer's Local #369.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jacquin Ortiz and Lillian Chapman and two siblings, George and Ruth Ann Ortiz. He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Ortiz; two sons; Joaquin Ortiz and James Demitras, Jr.; three daughters; Demetrics Thomas; Sequese Batts and Anna Demitras; six grandchildren; five brothers; Derrick; Eric; Carlos; Curtis and Chris Chapman; four sisters; Marilyn Jones (Butch); Jennifer Glover and Romona Ortiz and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Apr. 29) at 1 p.m. at No Longer Bound Ministries, 49 Fountain Ave. Calling hours from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, NJ.
