Jean Brenner

HAMILTON - Jean Brenner, 88, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. She retired after many years of service from National Ceramics in Trenton. Baptized in 1938, Jean was the oldest living member of Memorial Baptist Church in Yardville. As a very active member of the church she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Rose Hill Missionary Circle. She was a charter member of Rusling Hose Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085. Jean was also a proud member of the TNT Ladies Club.
Daughter of the late Lester C. and Edith E. Hill Pope, wife of the late Richard A. Brenner, sister of the late Edna E. Pope and mother-in-law of the late Marcia Brenner, she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in- law, David L. Brenner of Hamilton, Keith R. and Susan Brenner of Bordentown Township; a brother and sister-in- law, Charles and Elizabeth Pope of Middletown, Del.; three grandchildren, Jason Brenner and his wife Jennifer of Hamilton, Tara Leedom and her husband Mark of Lawrenceville, Ryan Brenner of Bordentown Township; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Brian Brenner; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St., Hamilton, with the Rev. April Vanness, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call on Friday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the memorial home.
