TRENTON - John Douglas Williams, age 64, passed away March 26, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born and raised in Newark, he later relocated to Trenton. John was educated in the Newark public school system and was a graduate of Barringer High School in Newark. He was employed by Trenton Psychiatric Hospital for 20 years as a human service technician. He was also employed by Princeton Bank and Trust as a credit investigator and Capital Lighting as an officer manager. He was a member of Calvary Christian Fellowship Ministries under Bishop Johnnie Vaughn.
Son of the late Susie E. and John D. Williams, brother of the late Lorena Smith, Jacqueline Johnson and Patricia Williams, and uncle of the late Nikki Ellis,
Mr. Williams is survived by his lifetime companion, Gail "Anne" Dickerson, children, Kezia Eley, Carla Dickerson, John Eley and John Paul Dickerson, 12 grandchildren, a sister, Susan Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday April 2, at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Way Trenton. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment will be at noon Wednesday, April 3, at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton
