Juan I. Reyes

TRENTON - Juan I. Reyes, 90, of Trenton, has been accepted into God's loving embrace on April 23, 2013, at Hamilton Grove.
Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, on Dec. 15, 1922, Mr. Reyes had been a long- time Trenton area resident. He was employed with the City of Trenton for more than 17 years and was an active member of the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption. He was a dedicated member of the Holy Name Society and Cursillio Crisitiandad. Juan was a wonderful father and a devoted Catholic. He loved God, his wife, and his beautiful family.
Mr. Reyes was predeceased by his parents, Gregorio and Saturnina Reyes.
Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Carmen L. Reyes; his caring children, Carmen Rosario (Luis Rosario, Sr), Juan L. Reyes, Nelson Reyes, Marisol DeLeon (Hipolito DeLeon) and Wanda Reyes; his amazing grandchildren, Luis A. Rosario, Jr. (fiancee Balbina Melendez), Tiajuana M. Reyes, Jose V. Rosario, Christina M. DeLeon and Daniel H. DeLeon; and one adorable great-grandchild, Ahnaliz J. Rosario; his brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives will miss him deeply.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, at The Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, 151 North Warren St., Trenton. Visiting hours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to The Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption. Arrangements by The Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, Trenton.
