Kay Phyllis Burns

Kay Phyllis Burns, 66, a resident of Green Township, died Wednesday February 20, 2013 at Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home, Lake Ariel . Her husband of 44 years is Francis E. Burns.
Born in Patterson and daughter of the late Charles and Anna Bailey, she was a graduate of Wayne High School . Until her retirement in 1997, she was a secretary for the State of New Jersey Department of Personnel. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Newfoundland , the Hamilton Township Columbiettes, The Gouldsboro Lions Club and the St. Rita's Women's Guild.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons; Michael Burns and his wife Misu; of Honolulu, HI; Jeffrey Burns and his wife Celeste; of Roebling; a sister; Patricia Strand, and her husband Roy; of Rowayton, CT; two brothers; William Bailey, and his wife Beth; of Stockholm; Christopher Bailey and his wife Judith; of Wayne; three granddaughters; Suhyeon; Caitlin and Lyndsey; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Thomas Bailey.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday (Feb. 25) at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's of Padua Church , 889 Main St, Newfoundland, PA 18445. The interment will be at 2:30 p.m. in St. John's Cemetery , 124 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ 08501 . A viewing will be held on Sunday (Feb. 24) from 2-5 p.m. in the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes, 3 First Street , Spring Brook Twp., PA 18444. Memorial contributions may be made to the , P.O.
