HAMILTON - Loretta Frascella Bucchino, 67, of Hamilton, entered into God's loving arms on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, surrounded by her devoted family at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Bristol, Pa., Loretta was raised in Trenton, was a graduate of Trenton Central High School, class of 1963, and has resided in Hamilton since 1970.
Loretta and her husband, Bob, worked together for years to establish the Dr. Robert A. Bucchino Optometry practice in Hamilton and later in Robbinsville. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish. Devoted to her family, she treasured times with her children and her grandchildren who were her passion in life.
Predeceased by her parents, Candida and Frank A. Frascella and her brother, Joseph F. Frascella, Loretta is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Robert A. Bucchino; her children and their spouses, Michael A. and Josephine Bucchino, Robert J. Bucchino, Kristine M. and Beniamino Tramo and Lisa D. and Jason Chirichella; her grandchildren, Kara and Michael A. Bucchino, Jr., Mia, Raffaele and Gemma Tramo, and Emily and Jason Chirichella; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Joann Frascella; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Al Erzak; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at 8:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton.
Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
Relatives and friends may gather on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
