Mother Mable Ayers-Sessoms TRENTON -Mable Ayers-Sessoms, 89, of Trenton departed this life on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. Born in Cape Charles, VA, Mother Sessoms was educated in Northampton County Public Schools. She was employed as homemaker for many years and at Anderson Custodial Company until she retired. Mother Sessoms was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. She served on the Mother's, Usher and the Missionary Boards for many years. Predeceased by her parents, Evren and Lottie Ayers; her husband, James Sessoms; two sons, James and Horace Sessoms; four brothers, Alexander, James, Chester, and Tomas Ayers; two grandchildren, Nima Crawford and Randolph "Poochie" Scott. Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Jones and Lottie Scott; seven grandchildren, Judy Brown , Priscilla Scott, LaShonna Jones, Michael Jones, Anthony Scott, Lisa Roberts, and Deborah Thompson; one daughter-in-law, Cliffie Sessoms; five adopted children, Jermaine, Jerriann, Richelle, Neff, and Patrick Ayers; one sister, Dolsia Williams; an abundance of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 24 at 11am at Friendship Baptist Church 111 Perry St., Trenton, NJ. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum, Hamilton Twp. NJ Calling hours will be Monday from 9 to 11 am at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
