LAWRENCE - Mary Ellen E. Bieksza Miller, 78, of Lawrence Township died peacefully on Monday at St. Joseph's Residence at Morris Hall, Lawrenceville.
Born in Bordentown, Mrs. Miller lived most of her life in Bordentown and became a Lawrenceville resident in 1968. She retired in 1995 after 10 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the State of New Jerey, Department of Corrections, Juvenile Medium Security Facility in Bordentown Township. She was previously employed for 21 years at the former Heinemann Electric Co. on the Brunswick Pike. She was a member of the St. Ann's Altar Rosary Society, the Registry of Registered Nurses, American Association of Nurses and the Lawrence Townhip Senior Citizens, Group No.2.
Daughter of the late Paul J., Sr. and Margaret R. Heupel Hartmann, wife of the late Casimir Miller and Paul B. Bieksza, Sr., sister of the late Paul J. Hartmann, Jr. and Joan M. Polenta, she is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Bieksza and Peter C. Schmitt of Bernardsville, Catherine J. Miller of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Paul B., Jr. and Lorraine Bieksza of Trenton, Christopher S. and Sue Ann Miller of Lawrenceville, three grandsons, Matthew Miller, Timothy Miller and Bradley Miller; her sister, Ann L. Bridgman of West Des Moines, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road. Entombment will be in St. Raphael's Alcove in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Hamilton. Calling hours are from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann's Daily Chapel (use rear entrance of church) under the direction of the Winowicz Funeral Service, Trenton.
