Mary I. Boshanski

EWING - Mary I. Boshanski of Ewing Township, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 18, 2013.
Born in Trenton, Mary had been an area resident for almost a century. Mary was a decorated veteran of World War II, having served as a nurse aboard the U.S. Army Hospital ship Algonquin from 1942 to 1946 and attaining the rank of first lieutenant. Mary was a 1940 graduate of St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing and a 1951 graduate of the Long Island College Hospital School of Anesthesiology. She retired in 1990 as a Registered Nurse from the former Mercer Hospital.
Mary is survived by a niece and nephew, two great- nephews and many friends.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Ave, Trenton. As per Mary's wishes, cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either St. Hedwig Church or to a .
Funeral arrangements were entrusted under the direction of the Meloni Memorial Home, 1028 N. Olden Ave., Trenton.
