Patrick F. Russell

Patrick F. Russell EWING - Patrick F. Russell, 60, of Ewing, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, Mr. Russell was a lifelong area resident. Patrick was the first baby to be baptized at Incarnation Church, where he also attended its grammar school, followed by Notre Dame High School, and then Trenton State College. He was employed by New Jersey Manufacturer's Insurance Company for the past 26 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 314 in Ewing. He was a history buff, who loved retro television shows and riding his Harley. Patrick had an upbeat personality, with a heart of gold, he loved his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was the "Mayor" of the Marrazzo's in Ewing, where he knew everyone by name. Patrick loved life, and he will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Son of the late John William Russell; step-grandfather of the late Timothy L. Brand; he is survived by his mother, Jean (Minschwaner) Russell; his beloved wife and companion for the past 16 years, Donna (Smith) Russell; his sister, Mary Sudnick; his step-children, Michael Serridge and wife Shannon of Ocala, FL, Kyle Godown and wife Tara, and Chad Godown and wife Amber all of Port St. Lucie, FL; eight step-grandchildren, Lee Ronleve, Samantha Serridge, Michael Timmons, Rebeckah, Kara, and Alexa Godown, Olivia and Alaina Turner; and many other family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Incarnation Church, 1545 Pennington Rd., Ewing, NJ. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 pm and Saturday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. In lieu of flowers, Patrick had been adamant about donations going to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Attn: Tribute Dept. or to Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation, 11 Independence Way, Newark, DE 19713.
