Regina A. Shelmet

Regina A. Shelmet LAWRENCEVILLE - Regina A. Shelmet, 74, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, Regina was a lifelong area resident. She was a cashier for Marrazzo's Thriftway in Ewing for many years. Daughter of the late Anthony C. and Dorothy Wain Zuccarello, wife of the late William A. Shelmet Sr., mother of the late William A. Shelmet Jr., grandmother of the late Desiree Shelmet, and sister-in-law of the late Shirley Cascone and husband Peter, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa A. and John F. Herold of Lawrenceville; three grandchildren, Danielle and Anthony Herold; Alexa Hope Shelmet; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret E. and John Helmuth of Ewing; Dorothy and John Young of Robbinsville; two brothers and sisters-in-law John "Jack" and Ruth Zuccarello of Hamilton; Anthony and Rosemary Zuccarello of N. Wildwood, NJ; a brother-in-law, Walter Shelmet and wife Patricia of Lawrenceville; one aunt, Agnes Kneeshaw of Levittown, PA.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her faithful companion, Harley. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 noon at the Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville. Burial will be in St. Hedwig's Cemetery , Lawrenceville.
