Rosalie Chance TRENTON - Rosalie Chance passed away December 14, 2013 at Water's Edge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Trenton, NJ. She grew up in the Princeton area and later moved to Trenton where she lived in Trenton for over 65 years. She graduated from Princeton High School and Mercer County Community College where she received her Nursing Degree. Roaslie retired from General Motors
after many years of service and she then achieved her lifelong dream of becoming an L.P.N. She was a long time member of Our Lady of the Divine Shepherd Church and then attended St. Mary's Cathedral. Rosalie was a dedicated member of the Spirit of St. Francis Fraternity in the Secular Franciscan Order in Trenton, New Jersey for 57 years. She loved to travel and visited places all over the United States and Europe. Sister of the late William Chance, Susan Stutts, and Louisa Chance, cousin to the Carraway and Robeson families. Rosalie is survived by her daughter Brenda Sanders, grandchildren Paula, Hugh, Johnathan Sanders, great grandchildren Jessica Sanders, the Carraway Family, a host of other relatives and friends in the Princeton area. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Mon. December 30, 2013 at St. Mary's Cathedral 151 N. Warren St. Trenton, NJ. Calling hour will be 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
