Samuel F. Strano FAIRLESS HILLS, PA - Samuel F. Strano, Sr., 81, of Fairless Hills, PA, formally of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Samuel served in the Army 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, NC. He retired from the State of NJ after 21 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church and the American Legion for many years. Samuel loved wood working and competing with his carvings. Predeceased by his parents, Fernando and Angelina (Guagliardo) Strano; his wife, Viola M. (Ford) Strano; and his sister, Angeline Ricco; he is survived by his five sons and three daughters-in-law, Samuel F., Jr. and Michele Strano, Mark A. and Susan Strano, Joseph J. Strano and partner Billy Cornelius, Michael G. and Dawn M. Strano and Keith F. Strano and Lisa Clark and Tony Axtell; his ten grandchildren, Lauren, Eric, Kelly, Sara, Jennifer, Brittney, Michael , Jr., Keith Jr., Ryan, and Nicole; his great-grandchildren, Kaia, Alexis and Olivia; his sister and brother-in-law, Lilian and Roy Bragg; and several brothers- and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 11:30 a.m., at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call on Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Saul Colonial Home.
