Tadako (Kawamatsu) Lockett

TRENTON - Tadako (Kawamatsu) Lockett, 87, of Trenton, passed away on November 26, 2013, at home.
Born in Aichi, Japan, she had lived in Trenton for 61 years. Mrs. Lockett was educated in Japan. Mother Lockett, as she was affectionately known, was a former member of Church of Christ, and was a longtime, faithful member of Bethel United Holy Church, where she served as Mother of the Church for five years.
Daughter of the late Manzaburo and Hanayo Tatekami, and Soichi and Fumiko Kawamatsu, wife of the late James Lockett, and mother of the late George Lockett.
Mrs. Lockett leaves to cherish her memory Gae and Pedro Angel Santiago Sr., Rosita and James Santiago Peters and family, Gail Santiago-Mandelaro and family, Pedro Jr. and Cynthia Santiago and family, Noel and Rita Santiago and family, the Johnson family, Mrs. Flora Gentry, her Church family, godchildren, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Bethel United Holy Church.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, at Bethel United Holy Church, 221 Homan Ave, Trenton. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
