HAMILTON - Theresa Jakubiak, age 43, of Hamilton, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Cooper University Hospital of Camden.
Born in Trenton, Theresa was a lifelong area resident. She was a former waitress at Pat's Diner in Trenton. She loved listening to Jerry Blavat and going to dances. Theresa adored her grandson and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially at family picnics and gatherings.
Daughter of the late Arlene Jakubiak, she is survived by her three children, Angelica Colon, Joshua Jones and Tatiana Ruehle; her beloved grandson, Brandon Burgess; her aunt, Diane and husband Elsaid Salem, with whom she resided; her cousins, Daniel, Alicia and Nicholas Vignets; and many other family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 343 South Broad St., Trenton. Burial will follow in St. Mary Assumption Cemetery, Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angels Wings, 601 Hamilton Ave., Crean Hall, Third Floor, Trenton, NJ 08629.
