Thomas A. Fisher

BORDENTOWN - Thomas A. Fisher, 92, of Bordentown Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at home with his loving family at his side.
Born in Trenton, he was an area resident all of his life and moved to Bordentown in 2004. Thomas was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving with the 568 Platoon during World War II. He retired in 1987 from the Hamilton Township Road Department. Tom was a true family man, amazing father and devoted husband. He was an avid bowler and "Tom the Bomb" once scored a perfect game.
Son of the late Harry and Lillian Dreverman Fisher and brother of the late Marie Hegedus, Lillian Czarnecki and Ellen Fisher, he is survived by his wife of 35 years JoAnn M. Schnorbus Fisher; his children, Leigh-Ann Fisher and spouse John Ott, Lorraine Staley and fiancé Mike Palmer, Gina and spouse Chris Smith, Carol Van Pelt, Tom and spouse Kim Fisher, Harry and spouse Mary Fisher, and Ricky and spouse Linda Fisher, 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral and cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Thomas' honor to VNHS, 204 Creek Crossing Boulevard, Hainesport, NJ 08036.
