Thomas McCormick

Thomas McCormick, 81, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, January 13,2013. Tom was born in 1931 in Trenton, and attended Trenton Central High School, class of 1950. He moved to Chippewa Falls, WI in 1969 to raise his family. He served in the Korean War from 1952-1954. After some bartending and cab driving, he started his career with the United States Postal Service in 1958 in Trenton.
Tom had a big heart for helping others and for taking others under his roof. Tom was as Irish as you can get, stubborn with the gift of gab. We all loved his embrace of life and his sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Joyce Barrett and Eileen Giallela of Trenton and Kay Nelson of Chippewa Falls. He is survived by his four children.
Tom has requested that no flowers are sent but that you just do something nice for your neighbor or a child. Open your heart and your home to others.
A celebration of his life and his love for others will be on St. Patrick's Day in Chippewa Falls, WI.
