Tyree "Boo" Holloway Sr.

TRENTON - Tyree "Boo" Holloway, Sr., 61, of Trenton, departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2013, at Care One at Ewing.
Born in Trenton, Tyree was a lifelong resident. He was educated in the Trenton public school system. He was an honorably discharged United States Marine Corps veteran. He served as a corporal, Radio Field Operator, and Military Police Officer. He continued his education at South Kubasaki Adult High School in Okinawa, Japan, where he received his diploma and learned to speak Japanese. Tyree was a great mechanic. He worked for PSE&G for several years as a mechanic.
Predeceased by his parents, Clifford L. Holloway, Sr. and Ella L. Bryant-Holloway, surviving are his wife, Sierra Lane-Holloway of Trenton; his son, Tyree Holloway, Jr., of Bayonne; his daughter, Tyshia Camp of Trenton; two grandchildren, John Holt and Tyman Tucker both of Trenton; three sisters, Jan Holloway, Patti (Horatio) Judie of Trenton and Rena Holloway of Burlington; two brothers, Clifford (Debbie) Holloway of Topeka, Kan. and Darryl Holloway of Trenton; three uncles, Kenneth Bryant, Ernest Holloway and Charles Jones all of Trenton; his favorite niece, Akila Scott of Topeka, Kan.; a nephew, Clifford Yancey of Burlington; and a host of cousins and friends including a very special friend, Maxine Camp.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the chapel.
