TRENTON - Walter Grant Corker, 71, died on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Born in Quitman, Ga., he was educated in the public school system. He was a resident of Trenton for more than 40 years. Walter was formerly employed as a stock clerk by Rite-Aid Corporation in Trenton.
Predeceased by two sons, Darrell E. Corker Sr., and Walter G. Corker Jr., and his parents, Jack G. and Clara Corker, he is survived by his former wife, Dolly R. Corker; two sons, Randall Corker (Annette) of Atlanta, Ga. and Gregory Corker of Trenton; three daughters, Pamela Corker-Wade of Florence, Angela Corker of Willingboro and Brenda Chin of Miami Fla.; 29 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a great-uncle, Bryant Robinson (Louise) of Philadelphia, Pa.; two special cousins, Patricia Dasher and Helen Vincent of Trenton; special friends and staff at the Dialysis Department at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Anderson Funeral Service, 300 N. Willow Street., Trenton. Pastor Patricia A. Phillips will officiate. Calling hours are from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Final services will be private.
