William F. Spehar

William F. Spehar, 96, of Ewing passed away June 8,2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Francis Hospital, Trenton.
Born in Lewis Run, PA, he lived in Hamilton from 1946 until moving to live with his daughter in 2006. Mr. Spehar was a draftsman with DeLaval Turbine Corp. in Hamilton until his retirement in 1985 after a 40 year career.
Son of the late Michael and Monda Sears Spehar, husband of the late Marie H. Spehar, father-in-law to the late Harry S. Houghton, he is the last of 11 children. He is survived by his daughter; Carol Fierabend-Houghton; of Ewing; his son; Martin Spehar; of Columbus, NC; grandchildren; Christian and his wife Mary Fierabend; of Boston, MA; Jonathan Fierabend; of Oakland, CA; and Jaimie Spehar; of Columbus NC; two great-grandsons; Joseph and Michael Fierabend; and many nieces; nephews and their families.
He was a man of quiet dignity who was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday (June 17) from 9-10:45 a.m. in the chapel of the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
