Edward v. Donovan WEST PALM BEACH FL. - Edward V. Donovan, 71, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital, W. Palm Beach. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident, residing in Florida for the past several years. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Edward retired from the State of NJ, Department of Labor and Industry after 25 years of service. He was member of the Bethel Lutheran Church from 1947 to 2007. He was member of the church choir and a bell ringer for 41 years, and also was a part time Sunday School Pianist. Edward later belonged to the Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in Ewing Township. Son of the late Vincent and Dorothy Thompson Donovan, brother of the late William Donovan, Sr., he is survived by his nephew William Donovan, Jr. and his wife Kelly and their children, Jesse and Sean all of Loxahatchee, Florida. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning, December 6, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. Funeral services will be conducted 11a.m. at the memorial home with the clergy of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Colonial Memorial Park.
