Joseph Ephram Jesson HAMILTON - Joseph Ephram Jesson 94 of Hamilton passed away Sunday December 29, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. An area resident all of his life, he was a graduate of Hamilton High School, and he has a BS in accounting from Rider College He was a well known musician and a member of the Musicians Union for 40 years. He Played with the Mellor Band, the Mule Band, the Winkler Band and also the Army Band during WWII. also a member of the 4-H Club whose specialty was growing dahlias, the Trenton Camera Club, the Roebling Camera Club. He was a Mason with FA&M # 270. He regularly attended services at the Edinburg Road Chapel. Army veteran of WWII served in the Pacific Theatre, Son of the late, Meshach Jesson & Emma Bernhardt Jesson Brother of the late, Russell and Meshach Jesson Father of the late, Catherine Jesson Surviving are his bloved wife of 71 years, Irene Horvath Jesson Daughter & son in law, JoAnn & Edward Post of Hamilton Son & daughter in law, Joseph Edward & Linda Jesson of Hamilton 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Post, Lauren Jesson, Sarah Jesson and Emily Jesson many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday January 3, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Edinburg Road Chapel, 390 Edinburg Road, Mercerville astor Doug Mindek will officiate Interment with Military honors will be in BGWCD Veteran Cemetery, Arneytown. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning 10:00am - 12:00noon at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Edinburg Road Chapel, 380 Edinburg Road, Mercerville, NJ 08619
