William G. Doan, 49, of Hamilton passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. |
Born in Trenton, and was a lifelong area resident.
Bill attended Hamilton West HS, and provided maintenance work for Greenwood Village Apts, before his employment with Princeton University's grounds crew. He was a Jimi Hendrix fanatic and collector whose passion gravitated to Classic Corvettes and attending car shows. His favorite thing was his family and spending time with his children.
Bill is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Joan Doan and his nephew, Alfred Doan, Jr. He is survived by his former wife, Shannon H. Doan, his children, W. Gary Doan II, Amanda N. Doan, Cassandra G. Doan, and Jonathan T. Doan; his brothers, Robert Doan and his wife, Justine, Alfred Doan, James Doan and his wife, Nancy; his sister Gloria Nylander and her husband Doug; his girlfriend, Jill Pakman; many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral services for William will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ, 08690.
Interment will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, NJ.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
