Upon hearing the news of Amy's passing, a mixed bag of emotions circulated within -- sadness at first turned to calm and peace for a now pain-free soul. I'm a coworker but, more importantly, a fellow breast cancer fighter. Because I'm able to be typing this right now, my breast cancer journey took a different path than Amy's, but there were similarities, too -- the thoughts & feelings with that initial diagnosis, most vivid. Amy saw how I managed through my journey, and so she reached to me for support, for hope -- for this I am honored and her words of appreciation I will always treasure. My wish was to provide her with Faith and Hope that she could use to gain the strength each day to accept her journey, whatever it were to be. Her physical pain is now gone. Her Peace has begun. Her Spirit is infinite for all to treasure. Blessings to Amy and Prayers to her family & friends.
