Angelo C. Parmigiani Obituary
HAMILTON - Angelo C. Parmigiani, 90, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Chicago, Ill., he was a lifelong Trenton area resident. Mr. Parmigiani was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was an entrepreneur and the owner/operator of many automobile and motorcycle dealerships throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania for over 50 years. He enjoyed his trips to Atlantic City and had a passion for playing cards and shooting fingers (Morra), but most of all he loved his family here and in Italy. He was a former member of the Sons of Italy, the Neapolitan Society, the Trenton Italian Soccer Club, and Italian American Social Club.
Son of the late Dominick and Rita Baratta Parmigiani, husband of the late JoAnne D. Troiani Parmigiani, brother of the late Augustine and John Parmigiani and Santina Ryan, uncle of the late Donald Raineri and Gertrude Goodwin, great-uncle of the late Robert Goodwin, he is survived by his nieces and nephews and their spouses, Nina and Richard Bencivengo and their children, Carolyn Bonifazi and her husband Jason and Christina Firestine and her husband John, Domenick and Barbara Parmigiani and their children Christopher Parmigiani and Brian and Victoria Aaronson, John and Maria Parmigiani and their children, Matthew and Dena, great-nieces and -nephews, Dominick, Donald and Lori Raineri; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, caregivers, and many great friends.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Ave., Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Saint Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Brenna Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the , 1 Union St. #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
