TRENTON - Caroline Potter, 87, of Trenton, departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2013, at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Potter was a lifelong resident. She was educated at the Old Lincoln School and Mercer County Community College. She was employed by the City of Trenton, Department of Health as a health aide retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board.
Predeceased by her husband, Howard Potter Sr., her parents, George and Dolly Page, two sons, Howard Potter Jr. and Dwight Potter, a grandson, Howard Potter, III, and a sister, Annie Jones, surviving are two sons, Randolph Dunlap and Lawrence Potter; two daughters, Dolly Montford and Louise Potter; grandchildren, Michael, Edwina, Erin, Maurcia, Sabrina, Deshawn; 11 great- grandchildren; a niece, Florence McCloud; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Friendship Baptist Church, 111 Perry St., Trenton. Entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
