Charlie Daniel, 90, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at St. Mary Hospital in Langhorne, Pa. surrounded by loving family. Born in Columbus, Ga., he was a Trenton, N.J. area resident for over 60 years. He had worked at Borden's Castanea and the RC Maxwell Co. He was a member of Mercer Lodge No. 50 F&AM, the Crescent Shrine A.A.O.M.S., the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and the Eastern Star.
Son of the late Charlie Frank and Fannie Loyes (Cheshire) Daniel, husband of the late Norma (Weston) Daniel, brother of the late William Daniel, Katherine Tolle, Pat Hagberg and Riley Daniel, he is survived by his sister, Betty Proveaux; his sister-in-law, Helen Daniel; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Eric Moench, and Cynthia and Lenard Przemelewski; his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie R. Daniel, Jr. and Donna Daniel; his companion, Naomi Miller; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. N.J. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township, N.J., with military honors. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Saul Colonial Home. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Due to medical concerns within the immediate family, it is requested that no flowers be sent and that no colognes or perfumes be used by funeral guests.
