TRENTON - Donald L. Brown Sr. age 66, passed away Oct. 1, 2012, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia and lived in Trenton for 30 years. He was educated in the Wilmington, Del. school system. He retired from the New Jersey Department of Corrections after 20 years of service and after retiring he drove for Rick Bus Co. Mr. Brown spent four years in the Marine Corps and retired after 16 years in the Navy. He was a lifetime member of P.B.A. Local No.105.

Preceeded in death by his father, Richard, grandmother, Nannie, beloved son. Gregory, and aunt, Lucille Carter.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 22 years, Barbara; two sons, Donald L. Brown Jr. and Jun King; two daughters, Lisa Rainear and Melissa Jones (Andrew); two grandsons, Donald L. III, and Todd Lee Brown; six granddaughters, Tachiana, DeAhna and Taniya Brown, Paije and Jun King, and Chandler Rainear; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Way, Trenton. Calling hours will be from 8 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
