HAMILTON - Edna T. Bloom, 94, of Hamilton died Thursday, September 19, 2013, at her home. Born in Princeton, she lived in Hamilton for 66 years.
Edna worked at Insulated Duct and Cable in Trenton for a few years before becoming a homemaker. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Edna loved to dance and was an avid bingo player. She was a member of Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church.
Edna was predeceased by her husband, John D. Bloom Jr.; her daughter, Catherine Hayes; her parents, Edwin and Katherine VanPelt; and her sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Joseph Diviaio.
She is survived by her daughter, Marguerite Mangine; three grandchildren Marguerite (Harry) Ortiz, Alexandra Lepore and Richard Pontani. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kyle Pitts, Kara Pitts, Ashley Pontani, Antonio Pontani, Brianna Pontani, Alicia Lepore and Anabella Lepore; her great-nieces, Vanisse Diviaio Janowski and Barbara Dearborn; her great-nephew, Joseph Diviaio Jr; and two lifelong friends, Josephine Biriki and Eleanor Young.
Relatives and friends may share their condolences with the family on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church, 71 Pearson Dr., Hamilton. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the church. Private cremation will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutch Funeral Home, Inc., Trenton.
