Obituary Condolences

Effemia Kritikos, 93, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday October 18, 2012 at the Clair Estates in Bordentown.
Born in Leros, Greece, Effemia came to the United States and resided in Hamilton most of her life. She was the owner of the Athens Restaurant in Trenton, and the Chicken House Restaurant in Ortley Beach, for many years. She was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church and its Philoptochos Society.
Daughter of the late Haritos and Maria Anastasiou, wife of the late John A. Kritikos, and sister of the late Kaliope Anastasiou, she is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law; Anna Dertouzos; of Hamilton, Jean Stickler; and Rosemary and Michael Angelos; all of Tampa, FL., one son and daughter-in-law; Anthony and Janice Kritikos; of Tampa, FL., six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Oct. 22) at 10 a.m. at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church 1200 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, N.J. 08619.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.Arrangements are by the M. William Murphy Funeral Home 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton. Visit www.murphyfh.com.
