Elizabeth DiCrescenzo, 95, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at her home with her daughter Lynne at her side. Born in Stockton, Mrs. DiCrescenzo lived most of her life in Lambertville and was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. For many years she with her late husband Tony operated DiCrescenzo' Market and Tony's Deli in Lambertville.
She is survived by two daughters her loving caregiver; Lynne Samsel; Carol Weston and her husband Donald; of Hopewell, one son; Nicholas DiCrescenzo and his wife Juliana; of Jacksonville, Fl, four grandchildren; Donald Weston and his wife Kelly; of Reading Pa., Jill Olivant and her husband Walt; of Yardley, Pa., Nicole Herbert and her husband Steve; of Fernandina Beach Fl., R. Brent DiCrescenzo and his girlfriend Erin Sahlsteen; of Evanston , Il. six grandchildren; Cara and Madeline Weston; Julia; Bridget and Holly Elizabeth Olivant; and Violet Herbert, her best friend; Mildred Yannarella; and close family friend Michael Cifelli and the family dog Lilly.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 12) at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bridge St. Lambertville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
