HAMILTON - Frank T. Polom, Jr., 53, of Yardville, passed away on Tuesday in Samaritan Hospice at Virtua Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. A U.S. Navy veteran and a man of great generosity, he was employed as a supervisor for Waste Management in East Brunswick for 23 years and prior to that he was at National Waste for 10 years. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and enjoyed hunting.
Son of the late Frank T. Sr. and Mary J. Polom, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Trudy Gelentser Polom; a daughter, Amanda Jane Polom and her fiancée, Deandre Farrell; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Gelentser, in-laws, Arthur D. Gelenster, Carrie and Bill Groff, A. Daniel Gelentser; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Jack Seith; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St., Hamilton. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help fight the plight of Frank's colon cancer disease which ended his life too early, may be made to the , Mercer County Unit, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
