James J. Lynch Obituary
TRENTON - James J. Lynch, 59, of Trenton transitioned on March 22, 2014 at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Trenton, James was a lifelong resident of the area. He was educated in the Trenton public school system and employed as a medical security officer at the Ann Klein Forensic Center. He retired after more than 20 years of service.
James was a protective and loving husband, father, brother and uncle. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing chess, solving puzzles, and philosophy. He was an avid reader and researcher and a founding member of UHURU Village.
Predeceased by his mother, Hattie Mae Cross and five sisters, Evelyn L. Wright, Patricia, Diane and Annette Lynch, and Brenda Cross, surviving are his devoted wife of 38 years, Judy Lynch; two daughters, Libra Cordero (William) of Atlanta, Ga. and Safiyah Flim (Jermar); one son, Mahdi Flim both of Trenton; two grandchildren, Faraja and Tania; their caring mother, Sheri Sprouse; one brother, Fred Lynch; two sisters, Jaqualine and Elizabeth Lynch all of Trenton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton. Interment will be the Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from noon to 1 p.m.
