James Oscar Bloxom Jr., age 47, passed away Feb. 15, 2013, at Compassionate Care Hospice St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, N.J. |
Born in Mappsville, Va., he lived in Trenton, N.J. for 43 years, and Willingboro, N.J. for four years. He was educated in the Trenton public school system. He worked as a C.N.C Operator at General Sullivan Group in Pennington,l N.J. for the last 10 years, and previously worked at Skillman and New Lisbon Developmental Center for the last 10 years. He was a deacon at Temple of Praise Sanctuary Trenton.
Mr. Bloxom is survived by his wife, Mildred Dianne Bloxom; two sons, Quincy Bloxom, and Javan Thomas; two daughters, Pansy Mae Bloxom and Angel Bloxom; his parents, James Oscar Bloxom Sr. and Pansy Mae Bloxom; two brothers, Roscoe Bloxom and Kevin Bloxom; six sisters, Tonya, Cynthia, Glendoria, Natalie and Mitele Bloxom, and Renee Hand (Bobby); a granddaughter, India Bloxom; three godchildren, Valente, Shanique and Taraji Hargrove; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 21) at the Lighthouse Outreach Ministries, 715 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, N.J. Calling hours will be 9 a.m until time of service at the church. Interment Colonial Memorial Park Hamilton, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America-Philadelphia, 1331 E. Wyoming St., Philadelphia, PA 19124. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton, N.J.
