Jeffrey Lynn Doremus, 59, passed from this life on May 10, 2013, 33 years later to the date, that he and his wife moved into their home in Lawrenceville.|
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Eileen Cain Doremus and father, William Arthur Doremus.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a self-employed groundskeeper and maintenance man who enjoyed football, Nascar, and the Boston Red Sox. He was an avid military buff, with exceptional knowledge of WWII and the Civil War.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife; Eileen Cavanaugh Doremus; daughters; Tracy Ann and Joan Eileen Doremus; of Lawrenceville and son; Bradley William Doremus; of Jersey City. He leaves behind his brother; Donald E. Doremus; of East Berlin, Pa. along with his sisters; Linda Doremus Appleton; of New Hope, Pa., Carol Doremus Kupp; of Middletown, Pa. and Susan Doremus Smith; of Elizabethtown, Pa.; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday (May 18) from 12-5 p.m. at Pennington Road Fire Company, 1666 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ.
Arrangements are being coordinated by Gruerio Funeral Home, Trenton.
