HAMILTON - John H."Jack" Diederich, 86, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.|
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, 1007th Air Force Intelligence Group, having served during the Korean War. He owned and operated Capital Transmission.
Jack enjoyed fishing, modifying cars, riding his motorcycle, auto racing, and the Philadelphia Eagles, and most recently bowled with the Hamilton Seniors.
Predeceased by his parents, John W. and Emily Diederich, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie A. Diederich; his daughter, Donna M. Diederich; his son and daughter-in-law, David J. and Dottie Diederich; his brother-in-law, Earl Reading; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and friends, Ken and Joan Andres, and Champ and Doe Marinelli.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
