John Hall,90, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Bridgeway Care Center and Rehab Senior Living in Hillsborough.
Born in Somerville, Mr. Hall grew up in the Flemington area and was a long time Hopewell resident. He served his country in the United States Coast Guard during World War II, worked as a carpenter and loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing.
Mr. Hall was a member of the Hopewell Fire Department serving as chief and president, was a member of the Hopewell American Legion Post #339, Twin Hemlocks and SoHiWe gun club.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 66 years; Jetta Bregenzer Hall. He is also survived by his children; Donna and her husband Andrew; Linda and her husband Charles; John and his wife Elizabeth; Laura and her husband Joseph; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother; James D. Hall; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will take place 10:30 a.m. Monday (Mar. 25) in Highland Cemetery, Greenwood Ave, Hopewell, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St, Hopewell, NJ 08525.
