ROBBINSVILLE - Josephine M. Bonfrancesco, 88, of Robbinsville, entered into God's eternal care at home with her loving family at her side on March 28, 2013.
Born and raised in Trenton, Mrs. Bonfrancesco had resided in the Robbinsville area for the past 40 years. She was employed with the State of New Jersey as a secretary and more recently until her retirement with McGraw Hill in Hightstown. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church and a member of its Altar Rosary Society. She was a former Robbinsville Cub Scout den mother. In the past she played softball for a women's league. Josephine enjoyed gardening, as well as cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Bonfanti) Mendola, sister of the late Carl Mendola, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, George Bonfrancesco, Sr.; her son, George Jr. and adopted daughter-in-law and caregiver, Wendy Lynn Bauso; two grandchildren, Amanda Rose Bonfrancesco and Nicole Noel Averino; two sisters, Mary and Clara Licciardello; a brother-in-law, Daniel Bonfrancesco; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at St. Andrew's Church, 2489 Monmouth Road, Jobstown, NJ 08041. Burial will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 9 to noon at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
