HAMILTON - Kathy J. Williams, 62, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Natrona Heights, Pa., to Frank and Donna Jean (McCormick) Mitcheson and was raised in Vandergrift, Pa. She lived in Templeton, Pa. for many years prior to coming to Hamilton in 1989.
In 1989, Kathy began working as a bank teller at Wachovia Bank, now Wells Fargo Bank, of Hamilton, where she worked for over 20 years. Although offered promotions many times, Kathy was very content to be the senior bank teller and continue her customer service to those in the community she had come to know so well. Most of all, Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and celebrating holidays.
Predeceased by her sister, Beth Ann Mitcheson and her mother-in-law, Peggy Williams, she is survived by her husband, James L. Williams, Jr.; her son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Theresa Williams; her daughter and son-in-law, Jayna and Robert Brown; her parents; her brothers and their wives, Thomas and Brenda, Donald, and Timothy and Linda Mitcheson; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Owen, Rowan and Tyler; her father-in-law, James L. Williams, Sr.; and many nieces nephews and cousins including, Briana, Dane, Wynne, Dessie, Shawn, Randy, Samantha, Michaela and Ian.
Cremation services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
A celebration of Kathy's life for family and friends will commence at 1 p.m. Sunday (Mar. 3) at the Ford Cliff Fire Hall, Ford Cliff, Pa.. To honor Kathy bright casual attire is requested.
