Obituary Condolences

Lyda Paterra Prunetti, age 89, of West Trenton, died Oct. 6, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Palena, Italy, Lyda had lived in West Trenton for more than 80 years. She was a lifetime mother and homemaker, a member of the Altar Rosary Society of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, and had worked previously as an aide at Fisk Elementary School.
Daughter of the late Ferdinando and Carmela DiFiore Paterra, sister of the late Mario Paterra, Mary Russo and Amelia Nutt, and loving wife of Samuel "Sam" Prunetti, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Mary Ann Prunetti, Richard and Dorothea Prunetti, all of West Trenton, James and Dolores Marie Prunetti of Warminster, a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Joan Paterra, sister, Rena Paterra Menzel all of West Trenton, seven grandchildren, Sharon Prunetti, Michelle Prunetti and partner Carlos Bush, Jeffrey Prunetti, Kristy Ann Prunetti Zera and spouse John, Thomas and Carrie Prunetti, Nicole Prunetti and Danielle Prunetti, three great- grandchildren, Xavier, Maxamus and Sophia, and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Gabriele Smyth, Eunice Moore and Marva Mayfield, the home health care givers, who provided loving care over the last two years, as well as a special thank you to Ralph, Joan, Robbie, Rena, Barbara and Milton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 West Upper Ferry Road, West Trenton, NJ 08628. Burial will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hartmann Memorial Home, 2830 Nottingham Way.
