WOODSVILLE - Martha V. Bushnell (Vladich), 85, of Woodsville, N.J., loving wife, mother and grandmother went to her eternal rest on Nov 18, 2012, while residing at the Crossings Nursing Home near Syracuse, N.Y. with her family at her side.
She moved to Burlington, Vt., and then Syracuse, N.Y. to stay closer to her family. Born on February 28, 1927 in Whitehouse Station, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Mathilda (Chervenka) and Andrew Vladich. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Ellsworth C. Bushnell, her brother, N. Edward Vladich and her sister, Catherine Oakes. She is survived by her sister, Matilda Vladich, her son, Andrew C. Bushnell and his wife, Kathryn L. Bushnell. Martha has three grandchildren, Molly, Christopher and Kaitlyn. A graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Martha worked at Trimmer Lumber, Fiddlers Creek Farm and, most recently, for 18 years as a cashier at the Pennington Quality Market.
Calling hours will be held Friday, Nov. 23 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St, Hopewell, N.J. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday Nov. 24 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, E. Prospect St. and Princeton Ave., Hopewell, N.J. Interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Raritan, N.J.
