MARY 'DOROTHY' BABYAR TRENTON - Mary Dorothy Babyar died peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2014. She was born in Pottsville, PA on September 14, 1936, the youngest of six children born to John and Rose Longo Ross. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by five brothers, Nicholas, Robert, John and Francis Ross and one sister, Rose Poppert. Dorothy is survived by her beloved children, John R. Molnaur and daughter-in-law, Holly with whom she resided. A daughter, Mary LaCava and son-in-law Richard. Five grandchildren: Brianna and husband George Diosteanu; Nicole and Nicholas LaCava; Kierstin and Madison Molnaur. A special niece Annmarie Ghezzi and her husband Mark and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and family, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Adam D. Babyar to whom she was married to for 20years. Mary Dorothy relocated from Pottsville, PA to Trenton, NJ as a teenager. She graduated from Trenton Central High School class of 1955. Dorothy worked for the State of New Jersey, Judiciary Branch, Superior Court Clerk's Office from 1956 until her retirement in July 2002. Dorothy loved glitz and the glamour of Atlantic City, especially the slot machines and casino's. She also enjoyed bingo, 500 rummy, word search puzzles, her comfy slippers, watching her favorite soap opera's especially "Young and the Restless." Her family was her whole world! Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows RC church, in Mercerville, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Rd in Yardville, burial will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown with her husband, Adam. Friends may call Tuesday morning, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the memorial chapel.
